Toni Storm Confronted On AEW Dynamite

AEW

AEW Women’s World Champion “Timeless” Toni Storm successfully navigated a Title Eliminator match on the May 7, 2025, edition of AEW Dynamite, defeating Penelope Ford. Per the stipulation, Ford would have earned a future championship opportunity had she won, but Storm ensured her reign remains unchallenged for now.

The champion, flanked by her butler Luther and protege Mariah May, controlled much of the contest. Ford, accompanied by Kip Sabian, showed resilience and mounted several comeback attempts, keeping the match competitive. However, Storm’s veteran experience proved decisive in the end.

“Timeless” Toni secured the victory via submission, locking in her potent Ankle Lock, sometimes dubbed the “Storm Zero Ankle Lock,” forcing Ford to tap out. While Storm celebrated her win, her moment was interrupted by a potential future challenger.

“The Professor” Serena Deeb appeared, making her way to the stage and locking eyes with the AEW Women’s World Champion. This intense staredown suggests Deeb, who has been rebuilding momentum, may be next in line to challenge Storm’s dominance, adding another layer of intrigue to the women’s division following Storm’s eliminator victory.
