Jeff Jarrett Views TNA’s Reported Ban On Excessive Blood As A “Positive Move”

AEW

Jeff Jarrett commented on recent reports that TNA Wrestling has decided to prohibit excessive blood and blading, a decision reportedly made for talent health and to appeal to advertisers. Jarrett sees this as a step in the right direction.

“Have they had a lot of gratuitous blood over the last 12 bloody matches, in the last 30 days? Yes?” Jarrett queried before offering his take. “The WWE TNA relationship just got taken to another level, if you will… Are they cleaning up for WWE? Are they cleaning it up for potential advertisers? Are they cleaning it up for shopping to try to get the best television deal regardless? I think it’s a positive move in that… gratuitous blood. I don’t think 30 years ago worked, so I certainly don’t think it works today.”
