Tonight’s AEW Collision, with TNT Champion Adam Cole on guest commentary, featured a volatile contract signing. FTR faced Nigel McGuinness & Daniel Garcia, with Cash Wheeler offering an out. Garcia, branding FTR “narcissistic sociopaths,” stood firm, telling McGuinness he’s “still got it.” McGuinness then vowed if FTR crossed them again after Double or Nothing, “it will be Top Guys out…for good!”
Dax Harwood enraged the Albuquerque crowd, telling them to “shut the fuck up.” Subsequently, McGuinness and Garcia made both FTR members tap out. McGuinness declared, “At Double or Nothing, this ENDS!”
Other major developments saw TBS Champion Mercedes Moné retain her title against Reyna Isis, only to be confronted by a returning Jamie Hayter exclaiming, “Let’s go!” The Don Callis Family (Kyle Fletcher, Konosuke Takeshita & Josh Alexander) accepted Adam Cole’s challenge to face him, Roderick Strong & Kyle O’Reilly. To close, “Speedball” Mike Bailey, after a tag victory with Komander over Rush & Dralístico, was confronted by Kazuchika Okada, leading to Bailey standing tall with Okada’s Continental Championship.
