Current TNA Wrestling talent Rich Swann has bestowed high praise upon AEW’s Lio Rush, specifically lauding Rush’s in-ring creativity, innovation, and unmatched speed. Swann shared his admiration for his peer during a recent edition of the Keepin’ It 100 podcast.
Speaking about Rush, Swann stated (via Fightful), “And Lio Rush, I’d probably say one of the most innovative dudes, creative dudes I’ve ever been in a ring with, and ever seen…” He particularly highlighted Rush’s quickness: “Yo, he tops the charts (with his) speed. I’ve never seen anybody that fast.”
Lio Rush was most recently in action for AEW during the Buy-In pre-show of the Double or Nothing 2025 pay-per-view on Sunday, May 25th. In that match, Rush teamed with Action Andretti and RPG Vice (Rocky Romero & Trent Beretta) in a losing effort against the team of AR Fox, Bandido, & Los Titanes del Aire (Hologram & Komander). Swann’s comments underscore the respect Lio Rush commands from fellow wrestlers for his unique athletic abilities and in-ring style.
