Brody King is the first to secure a spot in the four-way AEW International Championship match scheduled for Fyter Fest on June 4, 2025. King defeated Josh Alexander in a hard-hitting qualifying match on the May 28th episode of AEW Dynamite, thereby “punching his ticket to the four-way for the International Championship.”
This victory means King joins reigning AEW International Champion Kenny Omega as a confirmed participant in the title contest. The Fyter Fest special will be a four-hour combined Dynamite and Collision broadcast, airing live on TBS and Max from 8 p.m. to midnight Eastern time on Wednesday, June 4th.
Two additional qualifying matches are set to determine the remaining challengers. These will take place on this Saturday’s AEW Collision episode (May 31st). In one qualifier, Claudio Castagnoli will go one-on-one with Komander. The other qualifier will see CMLL’s Hechicero battle Mascara Dorada, with the winners of both matches advancing to the Fyter Fest four-way championship bout against Omega and King.
