Mariah May’s AEW Contract Reportedly Expiring Soon

AEW star Mariah May has not been seen on television since AEW Revolution in March 2025, where Toni Storm defeated her to win back the AEW Women’s World Championship in a “bloody Hollywood Ending fight.” Now, reports indicate May’s contract with AEW is set to expire soon, potentially later this year.

Unless a new deal is reached with All Elite Wrestling, “The Glamour” will depart the company. It is believed that “WWE is set to make a huge push to sign ‘The Glamour’” should she become a free agent. Despite her potential exit and WWE’s reported strong interest, a report from Fightful Select suggests there have been no “‘colourful’ opinions shared about May’s status in the AEW locker room,” with most there viewing her situation as a “business move and nothing more.”

May arrived in AEW in late 2023 as the protégée of Toni Storm, which evolved into a heated rivalry after May won the 2024 Owen Hart Foundation Tournament and subsequently defeated Storm for the AEW Women’s World Title at All In 2024. Fightful’s report also stated that those within AEW “were surprised that May was only on a two-year deal” upon joining the company.
