Mariah May Makes WWE NXT Debut After AEW Exit, Name Not Mentioned On Air

WWE

“The Glamour” Mariah May made her official WWE debut with a surprise appearance on the June 3, 2025, episode of NXT. This came shortly after her AEW contract expired at the beginning of June.

May’s last high-profile AEW match was at Revolution in March 2025, where Toni Storm defeated her to win back the AEW Women’s World Championship. Following that, May indicated on social media she was on vacation, a period that seemingly ended with her NXT arrival. She has reportedly signed a multi-year WWE contract.

During her unannounced NXT debut segment, which interrupted a brawl involving much of the NXT women’s division and new NXT Women’s Champion Jacy Jayne, “WWE announcers never mentioned May by name.” After laying out several competitors and making a statement, May “also spoke in a digital exclusive,” where she reportedly said, “It’s about damn time. I’ve wrestled all over the world, and it’s only right that The Glamour arrives in NXT.” She then declared to the division, “Ladies, you can call me the next NXT Women’s Champion.”
