AEW Fyter Fest Results (6/4/25): Kenny Omega Retains International Title

AEW Fyter Fest results are in. AEW presented a massive four-hour “Fyter Fest” special on June 4, 2025, from Denver, Colorado, combining live episodes of AEW Dynamite and AEW Collision on TBS and Max. The night featured major championship matches, impactful debuts, storyline advancements, and a blockbuster announcement for AEW All In: Texas.

The show kicked off with Will Ospreay addressing his recent issues with Swerve Strickland and “Hangman” Adam Page, ultimately challenging Strickland to a rematch next week at “Summer Blockbuster.” This led to an impromptu match where Will Ospreay defeated Lio Rush (w/Action Andretti) after a competitive bout. Post-match, “Hangman” Adam Page came to Ospreay’s aid when CRU attacked, leading to a tense face-off between Page and AEW World Champion Jon Moxley, with Ospreay siding with Page as the Death Riders (Moxley, Wheeler YUTA & Claudio Castagnoli) backed down. Page then cut a promo reiterating he needs no help, especially from Swerve Strickland, to beat Moxley at All In.

In the opening contest, AEW World Champion Jon Moxley (w/Marina Shafir & Wheeler YUTA) defeated Mark Briscoe via referee stoppage after Briscoe passed out in a Bulldog Choke. This came after significant interference from YUTA and Shafir, and Briscoe showing incredible resilience, including kicking out of his own Jay Driller.

AEW Women’s World Champion “Timeless” Toni Storm & Mina Shirakawa defeated Julia Hart & Skye Blue when Storm submitted Blue with the TCM Choke. All In challenger Mercedes Moné was on commentary, providing her own table with steak and wine, and had a post-match confrontation with Storm, who took a bite of Moné’s steak.

A backstage segment saw MJF and The Hurt Syndicate confront Will Ospreay, with MJF warning Ospreay about “Hangman” Page and taunting him about his family. The Hurt Syndicate (MVP, Bobby Lashley, Shelton Benjamin & MJF) later came to the ring. MVP and Lashley ran down Denver before MJF took the mic, declaring he wants his AEW World Championship back and calling out CMLL’s Místico for a potential match at Grand Slam: Mexico if he deems Místico worthy after watching his match next week. This promo was interrupted by “Speedball” Mike Bailey, Kevin Knight & Komander, leading to a trios match later in the night.

In that trios match, Komander, Kevin Knight & “Speedball” Mike Bailey defeated La Faccion Ingobernable (Rush, Dralístico & The Beast Mortos) when Knight pinned Mortos after a UFO Splash. Post-match, The Hurt Syndicate confronted the victors, setting up a Trios match for next week: Lashley, Benjamin & MJF vs. Bailey, Knight & Komander.

ROH World Television Champion Nick Wayne (w/Christian Cage & Mother Wayne) defeated Sammy Guevara, Lee Johnson (w/Blake Christian) & AR Fox in a four-way to retain his title, pinning Fox after the Prodigy Driver. Earlier, Christian Cage announced the match and stated Kip Sabian is “working on something big.”

Powerhouse Hobbs defeated Max Caster in under a minute, squashing Caster in his “5 Minute Open Challenge.”

“The Toxic Spider” Thekla defeated Lady Frost via submission with the Death Trap choke in her official AEW in-ring debut. Post-match, Thekla continued to attack Frost until Queen Aminata made the save, setting up a match between Thekla and Aminata for next week.

In an 8-man tag team match set up earlier by Adam Cole, Paragon (TNT Champion Adam Cole, Roderick Strong & Kyle O’Reilly) & Daniel Garcia (w/Matt Menard) defeated The Don Callis Family (Josh Alexander, Lance Archer, Rocky Romero & Trent Beretta w/Don Callis) when Cole pinned Romero after The Boom. Post-match, Kyle Fletcher & Konosuke Takeshita confronted Paragon and Garcia.

The main event saw AEW International Champion Kenny Omega defeat Claudio Castagnoli, Brody King & Mascara Dorada in a thrilling four-way match to retain his title, pinning Dorada after a One Winged Angel. After the match, the coin dropped, and AEW Continental Champion Kazuchika Okada confronted Omega. Following a brief brawl where both men escaped each other’s finishers, Tony Schiavone announced on behalf of Tony Khan that at AEW All In: Texas on July 12th, it will be Kenny Omega vs. Kazuchika Okada, International Champion vs. Continental Champion, in a WINNER TAKES ALL match. A contract signing is set for next week.
