AEW TBS Women’s Champion Mercedes Moné continues to expand her global presence, capturing the EWA (European Wrestling Association) Women’s Championship. “The CEO” won the title at the Prater-Catchen event in Vienna, Austria, defeating Lexa Valo and Mila Smidt in a triple threat match.
This international victory comes after Moné lost the NJPW Strong Women’s Championship at NJPW Resurgence in May, demonstrating her quick rebound and commitment to competing worldwide. Following her win, a photo of Moné proudly holding the EWA Women’s Title was shared widely across social media by attendees.
Moné herself took to X to celebrate her latest accomplishment, embracing a new nickname based on her growing collection of championships. She posted, “You can call me 5 beltz Moné!” Her international title pursuits are occurring alongside her AEW career, where she is currently on a collision course with AEW Women’s World Champion Toni Storm for a major title match at All In: Texas on July 12th.
