AEW’s special four-hour “Fyter Fest” block on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, saw AEW Dynamite draw “655,000 viewers with an 0.18” in the key 18-49 demographic. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the two-hour AEW Collision that immediately followed on TNT drew “380,000 viewers with an 0.10” in the same demo.
The viewership for Collision, both in this special airing and in its usual time slot, has reportedly led to internal discussions between AEW and its television partner, Warner Bros. Discovery. Dave Meltzer reported that AEW’s broadcast partner is looking for a new home for the program.
Meltzer stated, “WBD is looking for what time slot is best for Collision permanently. With WWE and other sports so prevalent, Saturday night isn’t it.” This comment suggests that the consistent, strong competition from other sports and WWE premium live events on Saturdays has made that night a difficult one for Collision to maintain a steady audience, prompting the network to explore other potential time slots for the show going forward.
