Young Bucks’ Matt Jackson Details Creative Process For Double Or Nothing “Founding Fathers” Entrance

AEW star Matt Jackson recently pulled back the curtain on The Young Bucks’ memorable “Founding Fathers” entrance at the Double or Nothing pay-per-view. During a YouTube Q&A, Jackson revealed the idea was a collaboration between himself, his brother Nicholas, and AEW’s Head of Production, Mike Mansury.

“That was a collab. Me and my brother, we’ve been really leaning into the Founding Fathers thing. I think it’s been clicking and working, so we came up with the idea of we should dress up as the literal Founding Fathers,” Jackson explained. “And then one thing led to another about having a big elaborate entrance.”

Jackson gave significant credit to Mansury for shaping the final presentation. “Mike Mansury works with us at AEW. He’s a genius. He comes up with some incredible ideas,” Jackson stated. “He wrote out everything that Justin Roberts said. I thought it was just so brilliantly written. It was just phenomenal.”
