Veteran UK wrestler Alex Windsor has officially signed with AEW, announcing the news at a Pro Wrestling EVE show on Friday.
According to a new report from Fightful Select, the signing has been in the works for some time. Sources within the British wrestling scene noted that Windsor had been in talks with AEW “for quite a while.”
The report adds that talent, promoters, and other UK personalities spoke very positively of Windsor, with several stating how deserving she is of the opportunity.
A 16-year veteran of the industry, Windsor is a former Undisputed British Women’s Champion and has held championships in numerous promotions, including Pro Wrestling EVE and Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling. She is already familiar to AEW and ROH fans, having competed in a combined seven matches for the companies over the last couple of years.
