Following his recent announcement on Dynamite that he plans to form his own group, Ricochet has clarified that his main focus remains on winning a championship in AEW.
In an interview with the Dallas Morning News, Ricochet explained that he will not be rushing the process of building his new faction.
“It’s not going to be an easy process. It’s not going to be something that’s going to happen real quick,” he said. “I’m going to have to see the lay of the land… and see who I think really wants it.”
Ricochet emphasized that any new alliance must align with his primary goal.
“For me, I think the quest for gold is the No. 1 thing on my mind,” he stated. “The group that I need, the people around me that I need are all going to line up… with what I feel is the most important thing, and that’s the quest for gold.”
