Netflix Announces “WWE: Unreal” Series Premiere Date

Netflix has announced that its new unscripted series, WWE: Unreal, will premiere on the streaming service on July 29. The show, with episodes running fifty minutes, will provide a look into the WWE writer’s room and the lives of its superstars outside the ring. Peyton Manning is among the executive producers for the series.

A synopsis reads: “For the first time ever, step into the WWE writer’s room and outside the ring with your favorite WWE Superstars, where the drama is just as intense offstage as it is under the spotlight.”

A teaser for the series released in April was notable for showing what were said to be original plans for the WrestleMania 41 card, including matches like The Judgement Day vs. The Wyatt Sicks and Drew McIntyre vs. Bron Breakker.
