Athena Unsure Of Plans For AEW All In In Her Home State

AEW

ROH Women’s World Champion Athena recently discussed the possibility of being left off the AEW All In Texas card, which takes place near her hometown of Dallas on Saturday, July 12.

Speaking to The Takedown, Athena expressed her uncertainty but remained hopeful. “Look, there’s still time before All In for me to be on the roster. I don’t know if that’s in the stars for me,” she said. “If not, I have a Ring of Honor PPV that I will probably be defending my championship on. I would probably be super bummed out if I wasn’t on All In. But honestly, there’s still time.”

On the June 25 episode of AEW Dynamite, Athena competed in a four-way match against Kris Statlander, Thunder Rosa, and Willow Nightingale for a top spot in the Women’s Casino Gauntlet Match at All In. Statlander won the bout.
