Tony Khan Discusses Possibility Of AEW Holding State-Sponsored Events

AEW President Tony Khan recently commented on whether AEW would consider holding state-sponsored international events, similar to WWE’s partnerships in countries like Saudi Arabia. In an interview with WFAA, Khan said he would be open to it if the situation was right.

“Well, it depends on the situation,” Khan stated. “I think, you know, it’s all about the details. So it would have to be a deal that made sense for that territory, and especially for us here at AEW.”

AEW has held several international events, including two years of All In at Wembley Stadium in London and the recent AEW Grand Slam Mexico show.
