Dustin Rhodes has won his first singles championship in All Elite Wrestling, capturing the vacant TNT Championship at AEW All In: Texas.
The title was vacated earlier in the night by Adam Cole, who was not medically cleared to compete. A four-way match was then made to crown a new champion between Cole’s original opponent, Kyle Fletcher, and three other competitors: Daniel Garcia, Sammy Guevara, and Dustin Rhodes.
The finish of the match saw Rhodes counter a move from Daniel Garcia and trap him in a small package for the three-count. Rhodes’ own tag team partner, Sammy Guevara, was a split second late in his attempt to break up the pinfall, allowing “The Natural” to secure the victory and the championship.
