Report: Adam Cole Wanted To Retire At AEW All In

AEW

More details have come out regarding Adam Cole’s emotional in-ring address at AEW All In after he vacated the TNT Championship due to a concussion.

According to a new report from Bryan Alvarez on Wrestling Observer Live, Cole was prepared to announce his retirement from wrestling during the pay-per-view.

“From what I can gather… he was pretty much ready to go out on Saturday and retire,” Alvarez said. “And I guess, you know, cooler heads prevailed, and it’s exactly what he said. He was like, ‘I’m not in the right headspace to make that decision right now.'”

Alvarez added that Cole’s future in wrestling is “very much in doubt,” and that he will make a final decision when he feels he is in the right headspace to do so.
