AEW announcer Jim Ross revealed on his “Grillin’ JR” podcast on Wednesday that he suffered “a bad fall” in his hotel room following the All In weekend in Texas.
“I’m still recovering from Dallas,” Ross began before telling the story. He joked it was “a hell of a fall,” and while he doesn’t believe he broke any bones, he thinks it’s a “soft tissue thing.”
The situation was made worse because he had left his phone in an Uber and was unable to call for help. “I didn’t have any way of communicating with anybody. I just went to bed and it was challenging. I’m still sore,” he explained.
Despite the fall, Ross worked his scheduled meet and greet at Starrcast and provided commentary for the final two matches of the All In pay-per-view.
