The teases for a potential appearance by AJ Styles at this weekend’s TNA Slammiversary event are continuing. TNA President Carlos Silva recently fueled speculation with a social media post that used the word “PHENOMENAL” in all capital letters.
When asked directly about the teases in an interview with Fightful, Silva leaned into the speculation without giving a definitive confirmation. He stated that he likes the word “phenomenal” and that Slammiversary would be a “phenomenal” night.
Fightful also noted that when they have asked sources within TNA about Styles’ status for the show, one source said they believed Styles would be there, otherwise the heavy teasing would be a “gross misstep.”
