Report: Kenny Omega Expected To Take Time Off From AEW

A new report from Fightful Select states that Kenny Omega is expected to take some time off from AEW programming. Omega lost the AEW Unified Championship match to Kazuchika Okada at the All In: Texas pay-per-view last weekend.

According to sources within the company, Omega will be taking time away, though there is currently no word on the specific reason or how long he will be absent. Omega had just returned to action in January after a long layoff due to diverticulitis. He now joins Adam Cole, Will Ospreay, and Samoa Joe as top AEW stars who are currently off television.
