The Hardys are once again the TNA World Tag Team Champions. At the Slammiversary pay-per-view on Sunday, Matt and Jeff Hardy won a chaotic four-way ladder match to capture the championships for a fourth time. They defeated former champions The Nemeths (Nic & Ryan), The Rascalz, and Fir$t Cla$$.
After all the conventional ladders in the match were destroyed, Jeff Hardy summoned a rope-style ladder from the rafters. The Hardys then delivered stereo Twists of Fate to The Nemeths with steel chairs wrapped around their necks before Jeff climbed the ladder to retrieve the championships.
Following the match, Bully Ray came to the ring and congratulated the new champions before issuing a challenge. Referencing their long history, he proposed one final match between The Hardys and Team 3D to take place at TNA’s biggest event of the year, Bound For Glory.
