AEW Announces World Tag Team Championship Eliminator Tournament

A new tournament has been announced to determine the next challengers for the AEW World Tag Team Championships. On Wednesday’s episode of AEW Dynamite, it was revealed that the winning team of an eliminator tournament will receive a championship match at the AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door pay-per-view on August 24 in London.

The first match of the tournament took place on the show, with FTR defeating JetSpeed (Kevin Knight & “Speedball” Mike Bailey) to advance. The other teams participating in the tournament have not yet been announced.
