Jay White May Miss More Time Than Expected Due To Injury

WWE

A new report from Fightful Select suggests that “Switchblade” Jay White’s return to the ring may be further away than anticipated.

White has been out of action for several months after suffering a hand injury in a match against Kevin Knight. The report states that in addition to the hand injury, White has also been dealing with a shoulder issue. Sources indicated that White had been considering whether or not to undergo surgery on the shoulder. If he does have the surgery, it is possible he could miss the remainder of 2025.

The Bang Bang Gang faction has been hit hard by injuries recently. Juice Robinson just returned at AEW All In after a seven-month absence, while Colten Gunn was recently sidelined with an injury that removed The Gunns from the ongoing AEW World Tag Team Championship Eliminator Tournament.

The report adds that White has not been present at recent AEW television tapings.
