A massive Apuestas match has been made for CMLL’s 92nd Anniversary Show on September 19. MJF will defend his CMLL World Light Heavyweight Championship against the mask of Místico.
The match was set up at the August 15 Super Viernes event at Arena Mexico. In the main event, MJF defeated Zandokan Jr. to retain his championship after hitting a low blow while the referee was down. After the match, Místico came to the ring and confronted MJF, leading to the two agreeing to the high-stakes Mask vs. Championship match.
This will be MJF’s first-ever Apuestas match. The updated card for the event is below.
