AEW

Will Ospreay has issued a challenge to the fans attending the AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door pay-per-view in London, England. The AEW star took to social media, asking the hometown crowd to help him and his partners break the Guinness World Record for the loudest indoor arena.

The current record of 130.4 decibels was set in 2017 by fans at a Kansas Jayhawks basketball game at Allen Fieldhouse, which had a capacity of around 16,000. With over 16,600 tickets distributed for Forbidden Door at the O2 Arena, the crowd will be of a similar size.

Ospreay will be part of the 10-man Lights Out Steel Cage match at the event on Sunday, August 24, teaming with Kenny Omega, Kota Ibushi, Darby Allin, and Hiroshi Tanahashi against The Young Bucks, The Death Riders (Jon Moxley & Claudio Castagnoli), and Gabe Kidd.
