Report: Danhausen’s AEW Contract Extended Into 2026

A new report from Fightful Select has provided an update on the contract status of AEW’s Danhausen. The report states that while his contract was originally set to expire on July 1, months were added to the deal to account for injury time, extending it “well into” 2026.

It was also noted that prior to the extension, Danhausen had requested that AEW not pick up the option on his contract and was prepared to leave the company due to a lack of creative plans for his character. Danhausen’s last appearance was at ROH Final Battle in December 2024.
