Revolution Pro Wrestling has announced major matches for its two-night 13th Anniversary celebration in London, England, during AEW’s Forbidden Door weekend.
On Friday, August 22, at the “Global Wars UK” event, a Wild Card All-Star Tag Team Match will take place. The bout will feature NJPW’s Hiroshi Tanahashi teaming with AEW’s Katsuyori Shibata and “Speedball” Mike Bailey, along with RevPro’s Michael Oku and Zozaya, to face a team that includes AEW TNT Champion Kyle Fletcher and CMLL’s Hechicero. The match will mark the first time Tanahashi and Shibata have teamed together since 2016.
On Saturday, August 23, at the 13th Anniversary show, a major six-woman tag team match has been announced. RevPro Undisputed British Women’s Champion Mercedes Moné will team with Kanji and Dani Luna to face the reunited Cut Throat Collective, featuring the one-night return of AEW’s Alex Windsor, who will team with Nina Samuels and Safire Reed.
