Former AEW Women’s World Champion Jamie Hayter has made her surprise return to All Elite Wrestling at the Forbidden Door pay-per-view in her home country of England.
The return came after a running brawl between Thekla and Queen Aminata that spilled from the backstage area to the entranceway. When Thekla’s partners from the Triangle of Madness, Skye Blue and Julia Hart, interfered to attack Aminata, Hayter ran out to a massive ovation from the London crowd. Hayter evened the odds and fought off the heel faction alongside Aminata.
The angle was a continuation of a feud from the Zero Hour pre-show, where Thekla’s team defeated Queen Aminata’s team in an eight-woman tag team match.
This marks Hayter’s first appearance on AEW programming since she suffered an injury at the Double or Nothing pay-per-view in May.
