TNA Wrestling is gearing up for a live episode of its weekly iMPACT television show on Thursday, September 4, from Minneapolis, Minnesota, and a stacked card has been announced. The show will feature the fallout from the recent Emergence special and begin the road to the company’s biggest pay-per-view of the year, Bound For Glory. A major focus of the show will be the Knockouts division, as a new number one contender for the TNA Knockouts World Championship will be determined. Indi Hartwell, Jody Threat, and Dani Luna are set to compete in a triple threat match, with the winner earning a future championship opportunity against the current champion, Ash by Elegance. The champion herself will also be in the building for a special championship celebration segment to celebrate her recent victory and reign atop the division.
In addition to the high-stakes Knockouts match, several other key bouts have been scheduled. In a big six-person mixed tag team match, the new TNA World Tag Team Champions, The Hardys (Matt & Jeff Hardy), will team up with Mara Sade to face the trio of Tasha Steelz, John Skyler, and Jason Hotch. Also, in a battle of two of the company’s biggest heavyweights, Moose is scheduled to go one-on-one against AJ Francis of Fir$t Cla$$. The Nemeths (Nic & Ryan Nemeth) will also be in action, as Nic Nemeth makes his return from a storyline suspension to team with his brother against The System’s Eddie Edwards and Brian Myers. Finally, both Joe Hendry and Mike Santana are advertised to be in action on the live broadcast. It promises to be an eventful night as the top stars of TNA Wrestling continue their rivalries and build towards the Bound For Glory pay-per-view in October.
