Jon Moxley vs. Daniel Garcia Set For Next Week’s AEW Collision

AEW

A new singles match has been announced for the September 6 episode of AEW Collision, as Jon Moxley is set to take on Daniel Garcia. The match was made on this past Saturday’s show, which took place from the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia. After Daniel Garcia defeated Blake Christian in the opening contest, he was asked about a private conversation he had with Moxley on the previous episode of Dynamite. Garcia refused to answer and instead challenged Moxley to a match. The challenge was then accepted on Moxley’s behalf by his fellow Death Riders, Marina Shafir and Wheeler Yuta, who emerged from the crowd.

This match continues a developing storyline between the two men. On the August 27 episode of Dynamite, Moxley defeated Garcia in a hard-fought match. After the bout, Moxley appeared to show a sign of respect, meeting Garcia on the outside and speaking to him privately. Garcia’s decision to challenge Moxley again rather than reveal what was said adds another layer of intrigue to their story.

Also on Collision, Gabe Kidd issued a challenge to Darby Allin for a future match. In a promo, Kidd said he didn’t want a referee or any rules, he simply wanted to take Allin’s soul. The match was not made official.

The updated lineup for the September 6 episode of AEW Collision is below:

  • Jon Moxley vs. Daniel Garcia
