The former Ring of Honor tag team, The Righteous (Vincent and Dutch), are reportedly finishing up their commitments on the independent circuit, fueling speculation that they may be on their way to WWE. According to a new report from Fightful Select, the duo has informed some independent promoters that their bookings will be wrapping up in the coming months.
This development comes as sources within WWE have indicated that there is significant interest in signing the team. Many in the industry now believe it is likely that Vincent and Dutch will be joining the WWE roster in the near future. The team has a unique and dark persona that has made them a standout act in every promotion they have worked for, and their style would bring a different flavor to the WWE tag team scene.
This is not the first time The Righteous have been on WWE’s radar. The team participated in a tryout with the company in December of 2022. However, a corporate hiring freeze, which occurred around the time Vince McMahon forced his way back into the company, halted any potential signings. Following that tryout, The Righteous signed with All Elite Wrestling and were featured primarily on the Ring of Honor brand before they departed that company in May of this year.
