AEW Collision Viewership Drops To Second-Lowest Of The Year

AEW

The viewership numbers for the August 30 episode of AEW Collision on TNT have been released, and the show saw a significant drop against heavy competition. According to Wrestlenomics, the live broadcast averaged 195,000 viewers, which is a 31% decrease from the 281,000 viewers of the previous week. This number represents the second-lowest total audience for the show in its history. The program faced a stacked night of competition, which undoubtedly contributed to the lower viewership.

In the key 18-49 demographic, Collision drew a 0.04 rating, a significant drop from the 0.07 rating of the previous week. The show ranked tenth for the night on cable. The competition on Saturday night was fierce, with college football games on multiple major networks, including ABC, NBC, and ESPN, as well as the UFC 319 prelims and AAA’s Triplemania event, which aired for free on WWE’s YouTube channel. The UFC prelims alone drew over a million viewers and a 0.40 rating in the key demographic, dominating the night. Compared to the same week in 2024, Collision’s viewership was down 29.6 percent, and its key demographic rating was down a substantial 53.9 percent. These numbers do not include the audience watching on the Max streaming simulcast.
