WWE Hall of Famer and AEW star Jeff Jarrett recently shared his thoughts on attending the wedding of Maxwell Jacob Friedman (MJF) and Alicia Atout, which took place on Friday, September 5, in Long Island, New York. The event was a star-studded affair, with several notable figures from the world of All Elite Wrestling in attendance to celebrate with the couple. On the latest episode of his “My World with Jeff Jarrett” podcast, the wrestling legend had nothing but positive things to say about the ceremony and the reception, describing it as a beautiful and well-organized event that perfectly blended personal sentiment with a touch of showbiz flair. Jarrett’s comments provide a heartfelt, behind-the-scenes look at a major personal milestone for one of wrestling’s top stars.
Speaking on his podcast, Jarrett praised the entire evening, from the moment he arrived to the ceremony itself.
“They know how to throw a party. It was an incredible evening. I cannot say enough good things about how it went from the time we pulled up and the valet folks took the car until the time I got back in it. It was an unbelievable first-class experience… beautiful ceremony, It had a little pizzazz in there, little wrestling, showbiz in there, but the ceremony really was beautiful. The vows were beautiful. It was really a cool, intimate setting.”
He concluded by extending his best wishes to the newlyweds on behalf of himself and his wife, Karen Jarrett.
“It was a lot of fun. Karen had a good time. It’s good to kind of see folks embark on a new journey. We’ve both been there, so nothing but wishing both of them love and success and happiness until eternity.”
