AEW has revealed the lineup for the Saturday, September 13 episode of Collision, which will be the final show taped as part of the company’s residency at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia. The broadcast will be a pivotal one on the road to the All Out pay-per-view, as it will feature two major qualifying matches for the AEW Unified Championship three-way match at the event. The show will be headlined by the high-stakes encounter where the current champion, Kazuchika Okada, must defend his championship against Michael Oku, with only the winner advancing to the pay-per-view. The unique stipulation adds a great deal of drama and unpredictability to the show.
In the other qualifier, Konosuke Takeshita of The Don Callis Family will take on Anthony Bowens of The Acclaimed. The winner of that match will also secure a spot in the three-way championship bout at All Out. The third and final participant will be determined on next week’s “September to Remember” episode of Dynamite. Also scheduled for Collision is a tag team rematch between FTR and the duo of Adam Priest and Tommy Billington. Additionally, Mark Briscoe is set to appear on the show to announce the stipulation for his grudge match against MJF at All Out, and MJF himself is also advertised to be in attendance, likely to respond to Briscoe’s announcement.
