A major championship match will headline the Thursday, September 18 episode of TNA iMPACT. It was announced at the conclusion of this week’s show that the reigning TNA World Tag Team Champions, The Hardys (Matt & Jeff Hardy), will defend their championships against The Nemeths (Nic & Ryan Nemeth). The match is a significant main event for the weekly television program and continues the build towards The Hardys’ final encounter with Team 3D at the Bound For Glory pay-per-view in October. The Nemeths will be looking to play spoiler and end the new champions’ reign before it can truly begin.
Several other matches have also been announced for next week’s show, which will continue to build the storylines for the upcoming Victory Road special. In a six-woman tag team match that will serve as a preview for two different championship matches at Victory Road, The Elegance Brand (Ash by Elegance, Heather by Elegance & M by Elegance) will take on the trio of Masha Slamovich and The IInspiration (Cassie Lee & Jessica McKay). Additionally, the number one contender for the TNA Knockouts World Championship, Indi Hartwell, will be in singles action against Dani Luna.
