Mark Briscoe Jokes He’ll Be Able To Retire Off His “Kosher Pickle” T-Shirt Sales

Mark Briscoe is leaning into the success of his popular new t-shirt that makes fun of his rival, Maxwell Jacob Friedman. The shirt, which reads “MJF Has A Tiny Kosher Pickle,” was created after a now-famous promo segment on AEW Dynamite where Briscoe delivered the line to a huge reaction from the live crowd. The phrase immediately took off with fans, and the shirt became an instant bestseller on AEW’s merchandise store. The merchandise is a humorous chapter in what has become a very violent and personal feud between the two men, who are set to collide at the upcoming All Out pay-per-view. The success of the shirt demonstrates the organic connection that Briscoe has with the AEW audience and his ability to create memorable moments.

In a recent interview with Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp, the Ring of Honor veteran joked about the financial windfall he expects to receive from the “pickle proceeds.”

“The pickle proceeds, we haven’t gotten to the next royalty check yet, but I imagine that this next royalty check will be one that I will probably be able to retire with if I get the pickle proceeds because everybody, and I mean everybody, agrees with me that MJF has a little, teenie, tiny, pickle. They want to wear the shirt to let everybody know.”

Briscoe and MJF are scheduled to face off in a brutal Tables & Thumbtacks No Disqualification match at AEW All Out on Saturday, September 20, in Toronto.
