WWE Hall of Famer and current AEW star Jeff Jarrett has revealed that plans are in motion for a major celebration to mark the 40th anniversary of his professional wrestling debut, which will take place in April of 2026. The legendary performer, promoter, and executive has had one of the most storied and influential careers in the history of the business, and the upcoming milestone is a significant one. In a new interview with Ella Jay of WrestleZone, “The Last Outlaw” shared that the team behind his popular “My World with Jeff Jarrett” podcast has been brainstorming ideas for how to commemorate the occasion, suggesting that fans can expect something special to mark his four decades in the industry.
Jarrett confirmed that the discussions for the celebration are already underway.
“April 2026 will be my 40th year anniversary. I do a podcast every week and we’ve had a lot of conversations behind the scenes, the whole team has kind of gotten behind it. Conrad, my partner, he’s kind of started that ground swell and I got a lot going on in my world. We are going to figure out just how we’re going to celebrate 40 years of the last outlaw.”
He also teased that he still has goals he wants to accomplish in the ring before his career is over.
“So as far as my in-ring goals, I’ve got a few. I’ve shared some of those publicly, I’ll keep some privately. But in the most simple terms, stay tuned.”
Earlier this year, Jarrett stated that he had signed his final in-ring contract with AEW and that one of his remaining goals was to win the AEW World Championship.
