All Elite Wrestling has filed a new trademark for the team name “The Demand,” which is the new moniker for the trio of Ricochet and The Gates of Agony (Bishop Kaun & Toa Liona). The trademark filing with the United States Patent & Trademark Office (USPTO) covers entertainment services and merchandise. The move solidifies the team’s identity within AEW and indicates the company’s plans to prominently feature and merchandise the new faction, which recently formed in a major heel turn at the All Out pay-per-view.
The trademark filing includes the following descriptions:
“Conducting entertainment exhibitions in the nature of professional wresting exhibitions and performances by professional wrestlers, namely, performances by a team of wrestlers during professional wrestling events; Entertainment services in the nature of live professional wrestling performances.“
