Two major updates have been announced for TNA Wrestling’s biggest pay-per-view of the year, Bound For Glory, which takes place on Sunday, October 12. The company has confirmed the return of the Call Your Shot Gauntlet match, a signature bout for the promotion. The 20-person, intergender gauntlet match will see the winner earn a championship match of their choosing, anytime they want, for up to one year. The first two participants for the match were determined on this week’s episode of TNA Impact, as Mance Warner and Lei Ying Lee were the final two competitors in a qualifying battle royal. As the winner of the battle royal, Warner will have the advantageous number 20 spot in the gauntlet, while Lee will be forced to enter at number one.
Additionally, a new stipulation has been added to the historic final encounter between The Hardy Boyz and Team 3D. It was announced on this week’s Impact that their TNA World Tag Team Championship match will now officially be a Tables Match, a fitting stipulation for two of the teams that revolutionized the gimmick. This adds another layer of excitement to what is already one of the most anticipated matches of the year.
