The final card for tonight’s TNA Victory Road special event, which streams live on TNA Plus, has been confirmed, and it includes several major changes. Most notably, the previously advertised TNA Knockouts World Championship match between the champion, Ash by Elegance, and the challenger, Masha Slamovich, has been officially pulled from the show. The company made no mention of the match during the go-home episode of Impact, and it has been removed following the emergence of domestic abuse allegations against Slamovich this week. This is a significant alteration to the card and will undoubtedly have an impact on the build to the Bound For Glory pay-per-view.
To fill the gap on the card, three new matches have been added to the lineup. In a new tag team encounter, The Nemeths (Nic & Ryan Nemeth) will now face Matt Cardona and The Home Town Man. In a major singles match, Mike Santana is scheduled to take on the recently returned Ridge Holland. A new pre-show match has also been added, which will be a triple threat bout between Cedric Alexander, Trey Miguel, and Zachary Wentz. Additionally, a new stipulation has been added to the previously announced match between Moose and Mustafa Ali; the winner of that match will now earn the order of entry advantage for their team in the Hardcore War at Bound For Glory.
