The Bang Bang Gang has officially added a new member to its ranks. On the Saturday, September 27 episode of AEW Collision, the recently signed “Inevitable” Ace Austin was revealed as the newest member of the faction. The group, which has been plagued by injuries with both Jay White and Colten Gunn currently on the sidelines, was in need of a change of luck, and Juice Robinson and Austin Gunn decided to look to their past to find a new partner. The addition of the former three-time TNA X-Division Champion brings a new level of skill and experience to the group and immediately changes their dynamic.
The reveal took place during a backstage segment on Collision. Juice Robinson stated that with their partners injured, he and Austin Gunn needed to find a new direction. He said they needed to look to their past, which led to the introduction of Ace Austin. Austin entered the scene and introduced himself to his new stablemate, Austin Gunn. He then explained his connection to the group, referencing his and Juice Robinson’s shared history as members of the legendary Bullet Club faction in New Japan Pro-Wrestling. The alliance is a natural fit, and it provides a major storyline opportunity for the recently signed Ace Austin as he begins his journey in All Elite Wrestling.
