Dalton Castle has made his long-awaited return to the ring. The former Ring of Honor World Champion appeared on the Saturday, September 27 episode of AEW Collision, competing in his first match in over a year. Castle had been sidelined with a bicep injury since July of 2024, and his flamboyant and charismatic presence has been missed by the All Elite Wrestling and Ring of Honor audience. His return is a welcome addition to the roster, bringing back one of the most unique and entertaining performers in professional wrestling today. The former champion looked to be in great shape and did not miss a beat in his first match back from the long layoff.
In his return bout, Castle teamed with The Outrunners (Turbo Floyd & Truth Magnum) in a trios match against the team of KM, Corey Sparks, and Cowpoke Paul. The team was successful in their effort, with Castle securing the victory for his side after hitting his signature finishing move, the Bang-a-rang. Castle’s last match before his injury was on the July 13, 2024, episode of AEW Collision, where he faced Roderick Strong in a singles contest. It is not yet clear what the future holds for him, but his successful return to action is a positive sign for both him and the fans.
