WWE NXT star Edris Enofe has announced that he has chosen to exit the company. In a video posted to his X (formerly Twitter) account on Monday, Enofe thanked WWE and its personnel for his four years with the promotion, confirming that he is now a free agent. His departure comes after a run with NXT where he was largely featured as part of a tag team with Malik Blade, and it marks a significant decision for the young performer as he looks to pursue new opportunities in professional wrestling. The announcement was a surprising one for many fans, as he had been a regular presence on NXT programming and live events throughout the past year.
In his emotional video message, Enofe explained that the decision was a personal one that he had been contemplating for a while.
“As of today, I will officially be leaving the WWE. This is a decision that I thought about for a very long time and I’m gonna trust my gut on this. With that being said, for the past four years, I had the chance and the opportunity to meet and work with incredible people from the wrestlers to the referees to the creative team to the medical staff, and of course to all the coaches who put in so much time and effort into making me better. And for that, I will always appreciate y’all and of course all the fans who have supported me and stuck by my side through all these years. Thank you.”
Enofe last competed for WWE at an NXT house show in late July, and his last televised appearance was on the July 18 episode of WWE Evolve. His exit will undoubtedly open up a new chapter for him in the world of professional wrestling.
