The worlds of All Elite Wrestling and DC Comics are set to collide once again in a new, two-part crossover comic series that will see AEW’s top stars team up with the legendary Justice League. The epic 48-page story will be written by Steve Orlando and illustrated by Travis Mercer. The collaboration is a major one, bringing together two of the most popular brands in entertainment for a unique adventure. Fans will get their first look at the new series at the upcoming New York Comic Con, where AEW and DC will be holding a special panel and signing. This is the second time the two companies have worked together on a comic book project, following the release of “AEW Origins” last year.
The synopsis for the crossover promises a massive, universe-spanning adventure.
“In this epic tale, AEW’s finest — including Mercedes Moné, Will Ospreay, Darby Allin, Jon Moxley, Swerve Strickland, “Hangman” Adam Page, “Timeless” Toni Storm, Willow Nightingale, Orange Cassidy, and Kenny Omega — team up with legendary DC Super Heroes including Aquaman, Batman, Nightwing, Green Lanterns Guy Gardner and John Stewart, Hawkgirl, Zatanna, Wonder Woman, and Harley Quinn. Together, they must recover the Big Galactic Belt and prevent a cosmic catastrophe.”
As part of the partnership, DC Comics will also sponsor the upcoming AEW Full Gear pay-per-view in Newark on November 22. Fans attending New York Comic Con can check out a special panel on Friday, October 10, featuring Tony Khan and several AEW stars, as well as a signing with the talent and creative team on Saturday, October 11.
