The card for the upcoming AEW WrestleDream pay-per-view is beginning to take shape following the events of this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite. The show, which will take place on Saturday, October 18, in St. Louis, Missouri, will now feature two major world championship matches and the culmination of one of AEW’s most violent and personal feuds. With several weeks still to go before the event, the lineup is already stacked with main event-level encounters that promise to make WrestleDream a can’t-miss show for wrestling fans. The event will air live on pay-per-view and will also be available on the HBO Max streaming service.
The AEW World Championship will be on the line, as the reigning champion, “Hangman” Adam Page, is set to defend his championship against “The Samoan Submission Machine,” Samoa Joe. In the women’s division, the new AEW Women’s World Champion, Kris Statlander, will make her first pay-per-view championship defense against the former champion, “Timeless” Toni Storm, in a highly anticipated rematch. Additionally, after a challenge was issued on Dynamite, Darby Allin and Jon Moxley are set to face off in a brutal “I Quit” match, which promises to be the definitive and violent conclusion to their long-running blood feud.
