The viewership numbers for the Saturday, September 27 episode of AEW Collision have been released by Wrestlenomics. The taped episode, which continued AEW’s residency at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, saw its ratings hold even in the key demographic while the total audience increased from the previous week. The show featured a major TNT Championship match between Kyle Fletcher and Komander, as well as the newly reformed team of Max Caster and Anthony Bowens.
The September 27 episode averaged 248,000 viewers, representing a 5.5% increase from the 235,000 viewers of the September 16 episode. In the key 18-49 demographic, Collision drew a 0.05 rating, which was consistent with the previous week’s number. It’s important to note that these numbers come after Nielsen’s change to a “Big Data + Panel” ratings system in early September, which has resulted in lower measurements for wrestling shows, particularly those with younger-skewing audiences. Therefore, direct comparisons with pre-September ratings should be taken with a “grain of salt.”
Despite the new ratings system and fluctuations, Collision’s performance indicates a level of stability for the Saturday night program. The show aired head-to-head with an NFL preseason game and other sports programming. The overall viewership for Collision in 2025 is currently averaging 367,000 viewers and a 0.097 demo rating, compared to 399,000 viewers and a 0.121 demo rating for the same period in 2024. These figures do not include the simulcast viewership on Max.
