A loaded six-match card has been announced for this week’s “Collision Homecoming” episode, which was taped on Wednesday, October 8, in Jacksonville, Florida, and is scheduled to air this Saturday, October 11. The show will feature a number of major stars and the in-ring return of a legend, making it a can’t-miss broadcast on the road to the WrestleDream pay-per-view. The “Homecoming” theme is a nod to the show taking place at Daily’s Place in Jacksonville, the home base for All Elite Wrestling during the pandemic era and a venue that holds a great deal of history for the company.
One of the most anticipated matches on the card will see the return of the legendary Kota Ibushi, who will be competing in his first match since the Forbidden Door pay-per-view in August. “The Golden Star” is set to go one-on-one with Josh Alexander of The Don Callis Family. The women’s division will be showcased in a major trios match, as the new AEW Women’s World Champion, Kris Statlander, will team with her WrestleDream challenger, “Timeless” Toni Storm, and Harley Cameron to take on the formidable Triangle of Madness (Thekla, Skye Blue, and Julia Hart). In another trios match with a great deal of personal animosity, FTR (Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler) will team with Megan Bayne to face the trio of JetSpeed (“Speedball” Mike Bailey & Kevin Knight) and Willow Nightingale.
