Is “Switchblade” Jay White Teasing An AEW Return?

WWE

Former AEW World Trios Champion “Switchblade” Jay White has posted a cryptic message on social media, sparking speculation among fans that he may be nearing a return to All Elite Wrestling. White has been out of action since March with hand and shoulder injuries, and his presence has been missed in the main event scene. While recent reports have indicated that he is not expected back until 2026, his simple, one-word post has reignited hope for an earlier-than-expected comeback.

On Thursday, October 16, Jay White posted a message on his X account that simply read, “Ready?” The timing of the post, just days before the WrestleDream pay-per-view, has led to intense speculation about a potential surprise appearance at the event. In his absence, his Bang Bang Gang faction has undergone some changes, with Colten Gunn also on the injured list and the recent addition of “The Inevitable” Ace Austin to the group. A return from their leader would be a massive boost for the faction and for AEW as a whole. While the message is open to interpretation, it has certainly succeeded in getting the wrestling world talking about the impending return of “Switchblade.”
