AEW WrestleDream Pay-Per-View Takes Place Tonight In St. Louis

AEW

All Elite Wrestling is set to present its WrestleDream pay-per-view event tonight, Saturday, October 18, 2025. This is the first AEW PPV to be held in St. Louis, Missouri, and the first WrestleDream to take place outside of Washington state. The event will emanate from the Chaifetz Arena with a main card start time of 8 p.m. Eastern, following a one-hour “Saturday Tailgate Brawl” pre-show at 7 p.m. Eastern on TNT and HBO Max. The night is headlined by several major encounters, including “Hangman” Adam Page defending the AEW Men’s World Championship against Samoa Joe, Kris Statlander defending the AEW Women’s World Championship against “Timeless” Toni Storm, and a brutal “I Quit” match between Jon Moxley and Darby Allin.

The main event will see “Hangman” Adam Page make his first pay-per-view defense of the AEW Men’s World Championship against the formidable former champion and current AEW World Trios Champion, Samoa Joe. The rivalry between the two has been brewing for some time, with Joe reminding the champion that he has never been able to defeat him in one-on-one competition. Page offered Joe the championship match, citing the help his faction, The Opps, provided in his battles against the Death Riders leading up to All In. Tonight, the two top stars will finally settle the score inside the ring.

In another major championship bout, the new AEW Women’s World Champion, Kris Statlander, will face the woman she pinned to win the title, “Timeless” Toni Storm, in their first-ever one-on-one match. Statlander captured the championship at the All Out pay-per-view in a fatal four-way match. Since losing the gold, Storm has been on a quest to reclaim the championship she believes is synonymous with her. Statlander, meanwhile, is determined to prove her victory was not a fluke and solidify her new reign as champion.

The card also features several deeply personal grudge matches. After a year-long, bloody feud, Jon Moxley and Darby Allin will attempt to end their rivalry in an “I Quit” match. Moxley, who defeated Allin in a Coffin Match at All Out thanks to interference from PAC, will now face the challenge of forcing one of AEW’s most resilient competitors to utter those two words. Additionally, The Young Bucks will face the reunited Jurassic Express (Jack Perry and Luchasaurus) in a match with $500,000 on the line, stemming from Perry’s shocking return and betrayal at All Out.

The AEW World Tag Team Championships will be defended as champions Brodido (Brody King and Bandido) take on the Don Callis Family duo of AEW Unified Champion Kazuchika Okada and IWGP World Heavyweight Champion Konosuke Takeshita. The TNT Championship is also on the line, as Kyle Fletcher defends against Mark Briscoe in the fifth match of their rivalry, with their current record tied at 2-2. Finally, AEW TBS Champion Mercedes Moné has issued an open challenge for her championship.

Two more grudge matches round out the main card, as Jamie Hayter will finally get her hands on Thekla one-on-one, and The Demand (Ricochet, Toa Liona, & Bishop Kaun) will face The Hurt Syndicate (Bobby Lashley, Shelton Benjamin, & MVP) in a Tornado Trios match. The “Saturday Tailgate Brawl” pre-show will feature its own stacked lineup. FTR will face the high-flying duo of JetSpeed. A women’s tag team match will see Megan Bayne & Penelope Ford take on Willow Nightingale & Harley Cameron. A massive eight-man tag team match will take place as The Conglomeration (Tomohiro Ishii, Orange Cassidy, Kyle O’Reilly, and Roderick Strong) battles The Death Riders (Claudio Castagnoli, PAC, Wheeler Yuta, & Daniel Garcia). Finally, Eddie Kingston & Hook will be in tag team action. The main card will stream live on HBO Max, Prime Video, Fubo, and other traditional PPV providers.
